ScopeBolt accepts account-deletion requests through a verified support workflow. Sending a request does not immediately erase information or interrupt an active company workspace. We verify the requester first to protect accounts and business records from unauthorized deletion.
How to request account deletion
- Email support@getscopebolt.com from the email address used for your ScopeBolt account. Use the subject “ScopeBolt account deletion request.”
- Include the account email and, if applicable, the company or workspace name. Never send a password, email verification code, or two-factor code.
- Respond to the identity or company-ownership verification message from ScopeBolt support.
- We will confirm when the request is completed and explain any records that must be retained.
Open Work mode, choose Account & cloud readiness, then Privacy & account controls. Select Request account deletion to create a prepared email.
Information deleted
After verification, an individual account-deletion request removes or deactivates the account’s sign-in identity, account profile, personal account identifiers, and active company-membership access. Support information tied only to that account is also deleted when it is no longer needed for security, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
If a verified company owner requests deletion of the entire company workspace, ScopeBolt will coordinate ownership transfer or deletion of the company workspace, including its customers, jobs, estimates, employee profiles, assignments, time records, routes, handoffs, and other company records, subject to the retention limits below.
Information that may be retained
Deleting an individual login does not automatically delete records controlled by an employer or company, such as job history, approved time, safety records, audit trails, estimates, or handoffs. The company may need those records for payroll, employment, contracts, safety, tax, legal, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations.
ScopeBolt may retain the minimum account, security, transaction, or request records required by law or needed to prevent abuse and document the deletion request. Data that has been irreversibly anonymized may also remain because it can no longer identify the account holder.
Processing and backup timing
Verified deletion requests are normally completed within 30 days. If applicable law or the complexity of a company-controlled request permits more time, we will explain the reason and expected completion date.
Once deleted from active systems, residual copies may remain in encrypted backups for up to 90 days before expiring through the normal backup cycle. Backup copies are isolated from ordinary use and are not restored except for disaster recovery, security, or legal requirements.
